APPLICATION

Application is open to all high school students currently in grades 9-12 of all levels of experience.   Please complete the application form found here:

A complete application will include:
•  Application form signed and dated by both student and parent.

•  Deposit check in the amount of $1000 USD payable to "Acting Abroad."

•  A photocopy of your most recent grade report/transcript.

•  Resume and headshot ONLY if readily available.

•  Personal statement written by the student between 500-1000 words telling us what you hope to gain from the program. If you have experience in theatre, please briefly describe your experience.  Please let us know your thoughts about future plans for college and beyond, even if they do not relate to the study of theatre.

We begin receiving applications as early as October and only have space for 30 actors this year so please apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

There is no audition process. Students are divided into groups prior to arrival with each group containing students with a variety of experiences and ages.  
Students will be notified of their acceptance by mail with an official letter and acceptance packet containing forms to be returned and supplemental information about the program.
