Fees and Details
The program dates are Saturday June 27th – Thursday July 23rd, 2009. The tuition cost, including accommodation, breakfast, lunch and diner daily, linens and towels, as well as all field trips and activities, is $6695 USD.

Final Payment
The final payment deadline is April 1st, 2009. Final payments can be made by personal check, wire or by using your credit card through Paypal.

Arrival
Students should book their flights to arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France on Saturday June 27th, 2009 before 12 noon. (For most students this will mean departing from home the day before.) Each student will be greeted at arrivals by a member of our staff and escorted on a private bus from Paris to Chateau le Mont Epinguet, about a 3 hour bus ride away. Students who must arrive later or whose flights are delayed will be met by a member of our staff and escorted by private car or train to the chateau.

Departure
Students should book their flights to depart from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France on Thursday July 23rd, 2009 before 1pm, if possible. Students will be transported by private bus from Château le Mont Epinguet to Charles de Gaulle and our staff will see them through the security departure gates at the airport.

Participation
The program requires 100% participation by our students. Students are not allowed to arrive or depart the program early except in the case of family emergency. Students are not allowed to miss class days except in the case of illness.

Grading/Credit
Each student will be issued an evaluation of their participation and development in the program. We encourage our students to submit this evaluation to their school counseling office for evaluation to receive credit for an elective or arts class.

Zero-Tolerance Policy
Acting Abroad expressly forbids the consumption of alcohol/drugs by our students during the course of the program. Any student who shows signs of intoxication or is suspected of drinking/drugs will be immediately sent home on the next available flight from Charles de Gaulle airport at the parent’s expense with no refund of fees. In addition, there is no smoking anywhere on our premises.

Supplemental Information
Upon acceptance, a full list of what clothing to pack, optional reading lists, travel arrangements, how much spending money to bring, and forms to be returned will be sent to each student. If you have any questions about any of this information before this time, please do not hesitate to contact us.
