SCHOLARSHIPS

For 2010, we are offering two types of scholarships. Please note that you may ask to be considered for both scholarships however you will only receive one award, these awards cannot be combined.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIP


This award is a set amount of $2000 off the tuition.  This scholarship is open to all students currently in grades 9-12 and is awarded on the basis of solid academic record and enthusiasm to join us on the program. To apply for the Merit Scholarship, please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION

Please complete the scholarship application found ONLINE and have the following documents on hand when you complete your application:

 

- Your most recent grade report/transcript.

-A personal statement detailing why you would like to attend the program and what you would like to get from the experience.

- A letter of recommendation from one teacher, preferably your theatre teacher.  This letter should address your abilities as a actor, your work ethic in their class, how well you work with your fellow acting students and any other information that may assist your application.

FINANCIAL NEED SCHOLARSHIP


This award is an amount up to 70% of the program tuition. The amount of the awards will be decided on an individual basis taking both academic achievement and financial need into account.

Please note that the awards do cover airfare so please take this into account before applying.  To apply for the Financial Need Scholarship, please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION

Financial Need Scholarships are awarded on an ongoing basis as applications are received starting as early as September 1st, 2009. So it is highly recommended that you send your completed application in as soon as possible.

The following must be sent to us as an email attachment or by mail:

- Page 1 of your parent (s) tax return from the most recent tax year.  If you are on financial aid at your school, please provide the amount of your financial aid.  PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CANNOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THESE DOCUMENTS.
